Job title: Administrative clerk
Hours: 8am-4pm weekdays, 8am-2pm on Saturdays
Salary: Maximum $5000.00 monthly

Job Description
Our client deals with the installation and manufacturing of aluminum doors and windows and bathroom enclosures.

The Administrative Clerk will be required to primarily liaise with retail customers but may be called upon to work with wholesale customers if it becomes necessary. They must take initiative when required and be able to work in a high paced environment. They are the first point of contact with all retail customers so they must be personable and professional at all times.

Responsibilities:
·         Liaise with retail and wholesale customers

·         Organize site visits for technicians

·         Coordinate jobs and activities with the warehouse, workshop, and technical staff

·         Do activity/progress logs at the end of each day

·         Provide quotes for retailers and wholesalers

·         Follow up on quotes and payment of invoices

·         Write up billing information for customers

·         Maintain and update filing system

·         Keep invoices and billing records to submit to the director monthly

·         Liaise with customers before, after and during job

·         Operate company phones

·         Write up records of the daily sales

·         Be up to date with company policies and keep track of customer warranties

·         Be involved and proactive when performing your duties

Requirements:
·         Minimum 5 CXC/O Level subjects (inclusive of Mathematics and English)

·         Post-secondary qualification would be an asset

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Good communication and organisational skills

·         Able to work in a fast paced environment

·         Able to work under pressure

·         Possess excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

·         Be computer literate

·         Experience in a technical/ hardware/manufacturing/environment would be an asset

.          Must be over 25 years of age.
