Philippines e-Visa for Kenyan Citizens
Kenyan passport holders currently enjoy visa-free entry into the Philippines for up to 30 days for tourism, business, or short visits, as long as they hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond their planned stay and meet normal entry requirements like return/onward tickets and confirmed accommodation. This visa-free stay is part of the Philippines’ Executive Order 408 visa-exemption policy.
In addition to visa-free travel, Kenya is included in the expanded Philippine e-Visa programme, meaning Kenyan citizens can also apply for an e-Visa online through the official Philippines e-Visa portal (evisa.gov.ph). Through this system, Kenyans can request a 9(a) Temporary Visitor’s e-Visa for tourism or business purposes that may offer longer stays or multiple-entry options beyond the standard 30-day visa-free period. The e-Visa is issued electronically and presented at the Philippine port of entry.
Before applying or travelling, it’s recommended to check the official Philippines e-Visa website for the latest eligibility criteria, required supporting documents (such as valid passport, itinerary, accommodation proof, etc.), processing times, and fees, as policies may continue to evolve.
